Adoption Tees Valley Recognised as Top Adoption Agency for Customer Service in North East England

Adoption Tees Valley is proud to announce that it has been recognised as the best adoption agency for customer service in the North East of England and second overall in England. This fantastic accolade comes after a series of 'mystery shopper' evaluations conducted by Adoption England, where the agency was assessed on various criteria including customer service, the availability of information, and follow-up services.

Adoption England is an organisation dedicated to supporting and strengthening adoption practices and services across the country.

The research project methodology involved contacting 46 agencies, including Regional Adoption Agencies (RAAs) like Adoption Tees Valley and Voluntary Adoption Agencies (VAAs), twice each quarter by mystery shoppers posing as prospective adopters. Each mystery shopper presented a unique story, collectively addressing a range of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) considerations to ensure a comprehensive evaluation.

The evaluations highlighted Adoption Tees Valley's commitment to providing exceptional support and guidance to prospective adoptive parents, with the report stating that “Adoption Tees Valley demonstrated strong performance across all key interaction metrics, with staff delivering highly professional, empathetic, and informative responses. Adoption Tees Valley excelled in areas such as inclusive website imagery, detailed explanations of the adoption process, and proactive follow-ups. Mystery shoppers noted that staff maintained a warm and personal approach, showing genuine interest in the caller’s background and motivations for adopting.”
