Keeping in touch
In the past, adoption was often seen as a final decision, with little or no contact between children and their birth families. We now understand how important it is for adopted people to have access to their history and identity.
Today, our Virtual Memory Box is the main way families can
keep in touch. It provides a secure digital space where birth relatives and adoptive families can share photos, messages, videos, and updates over time (each arrangement is unique as decided by the court agreement). This helps preserve important memories and gives adopted children a richer understanding of their story as they grow.
Having access to this information can make a real difference, supporting identity, connection, and emotional wellbeing for everyone involved.
